Faith is an asset, religion is a liability, in my opinion.brbrFaith is an asset because it reminds us that our perception of the world should be bigger than ourselves. It reminds us that we are all the same, and that everything deserves respect. Faith helps people to have compassion and be unjudgemental which the world could do with more of.brbrReligion is a liability because it preaches faith yet, it doesnt practice what it preaches. How many wars have been fought because each religion thinks theirs is the only religion? Is that showing compassion, respect, and no judgements? Is that showing respect for everyone? No, it appears that religion wants people to respect those in that religion. Has anyone ever stopped and realised that all religions have very similar beliefs? The core elements to each religion are very similar, it is how the beliefs are showed that differs.
