Is religion just a comforting lie?
Why are there so many parallels in most religions?

I really dont know. and no one else does. But ill give my opinion, I dont believe in God, but i know other people do and some other people believe in different Gods. brI think that its just a barrier to humans and to society. But i think that if religion gives people hope in desperate times, keeps order in society, and brings communities together. it cant be really a bad thing. And with that, I respect other peoples beliefs. brWhat i would suggest, is.......... to unify every religion. because they all have the same basic principles. do not steal, do not kill, do not cheat, treat everyone with respect. brAnd what i really dont understand is why people convert to other religions.brIm sorry, ive seemed to answered your question by asking a question.
